The Boston Christmas Festival hosted its annual Gingerbread House Competition to benefit Housing Families Inc., a Malden-based nonprofit dedicated to ending family homelessness in Massachusetts. Middleton’s Tara Leigh Cakes won Honorable Mention.The houses were on display at Boston’s Seaport World Trade Center Nov. 6-8. Houses were judged and awarded special recognition in various categories. Sponsors purchased the gingerbread houses to help support Housing Families programs. [...]
